An integral role with a premium horticulture grower has recently become available to drive production on a newly developed 200ha table grape operation. As a key part of the on-farm team, the Assistant Farm Manager will work directly with the Farm Manager to ensure all operational activities on-farm are carried out according to best practice.Details
Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will be jointly responsible for overseeing all operational activities relating to table grape production which includes:

harvest/non harvest work activities and infrastructure maintenance
Maintaining vine and soil health through IPM and regular monitoring
Organising day-to-day tasks of staff including contractors and labour hire workers
Ensuring all operations are conducted in accordance with WHS legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will understand the unique needs of table grape production. Having previous experience will be a huge benefit, ideally along with some basic management experience. Alongside this, you will have strong irrigation experience and be able to manage the automated hardware and software systems used on-farm.Apply Now
