- Investigating, monitoring and collecting on overdue accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Managing a portfolio of debts
- Collecting on outstanding debt
- Negotiating payment terms
- Provide monthly aged debtor reports to management with explanations of overdue unpaid debt
- Account reconciliations
- Monitoring arrangements and finalising accounts
- Liaise with branch personnel regarding unpaid disputed debtor invoices
- Allocating payments as per remittance advices
- Liaise between customer and operations
- You are highly motivated, a strong team player and understand the importance of excellence in customer service especially in debt collection.
- Previous experience in the Collections field 3+ years
- Superior negotiation and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast paced complex environment
- Clear ability to escalate decisively, clearly and with confidence
