AIR SEEDER OPERATOR/GENERAL FARM HAND, BROOKTON WA

• Small family operation, working alongside the owner;
• 4,500Ha property with a 2,200Ha cropping program;
• Located 20kms to Brookton township and 155km to Perth;
• Potential for ongoing work;
• Strictly non-smoking/vaping property!

• Starting early April until late June;
• Pre-seeding paddock preparation including stubble burning, rock picking;
• Operating the Air Seeder (day shift) - New Holland T9560 with GPS, Aus Plough 15m DBS bar and 9,000L bin;
• Other general duties such as fencing, paddock clean up, machinery maintenance and cleaning, filling seeder with truck, loader work, spreading available;
• Stock work available if desired; 2,000 Merino sheep + weaners - duties include feeding and yard work including drafting, drenching, marking.

• Experience with machinery operation and maintenance;
• Experience with livestock preferred;
• Experience operating an articulated loader
• Ability to work with technology;
• Ability to work independently;
• Ability to listen and follow instructions.
• Ability to drive a truck;
• Strictly non-smoker/vaper only;
• Highly Desirable Skills and Experience:

• HC Truck licence
• Mechanical and welding skills

• Hourly rate: Good hourly rate dependent upon experience.
• Hours: During Seeding, 6 says a week; 12 hours per day;
• Accommodation: 4 x bedroom house available;
• No meals provided;
• Work Ute provided;
• Flexible hours to travel into town for supplies, occasionally cooked dinner provided.
