In this role you will be supporting and guiding innovative solutions, applying your proactive and methodical problem-solving abilities and exercising professional judgement, whilst providing support to your supervisor and stakeholders to navigate issues that arise.As this is a new project, in this role you will have the opportunity to help influence and support project outcomes. It's an opportunity to learn about future equipment in the Joint Electronic Warfare space and you will be supporting exciting technologies and future-ADF platforms.The candidate will possess knowledge of the Defence environment; knowledge of a CASG and CLASSFIED network environment is highly favourable.Please note. This position is impacted by ITAR. An AGSVA security clearance will be required and compliance to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).Responsibilities:Support Project Managers for fleet ILSP tasks including;Support with the coordination and attainment of business planning transaction (BPT) requirements, associated with SOPAssist in drafting Product Development System-Change Proposals (PDS-CPs) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, for Commonwealth approval. Assist with maintenance and management of the project’s Cost Analysis and Planning Tool (CAPT) excel spreadsheet for the sustainment annual report (SAR)Assist the Commonwealth with their acquisition and transfer of Defence articlesSupport the Commonwealth with their Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) inventory control and Supply Customer Account (SCA) transfers as requiredSupport to logistic management of CAF15 itemsAs the ideal candidate you will bring:Prior management or ILS Support roles, ideally within CASG/ASD/ADF or DefenceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent client liaison and stakeholder management skillsExperience in relating sustainment project/program advice to various business areasThe ability to identify knowledge gaps, and ask appropriate questions to close those gaps with the ability and drive to learn new thinkThe ability to be honest and speak up when task remediation is required and the ability to identify solutions to problemsSupport and promotes a team culture and collaborative approach to taskingHave an active NV1 or NV2 clearance with experience using the relevant Defence IT systemsWhat we will offer you:A workplace culture certified as a Great Place To WorkFlexible workingCompetitive salary (including annual reviews)Paid parental leaveIncome protectionCorporate rewardsSalary packaging/Novated leasingEmployee stock purchase plansFlu shots, skin checks and discounted private health insuranceCareer development: Online learning, mentorship and career pathwaysIf you’re ready to shape tomorrow, let’s get started.
