You will be working alongside fantastic people and contributing to the growth of the company as well as growing your skills and experience as a Plumber.About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber for our Fire Services business based within the Illawarra region. Commensurate with your qualification, this position involve statutory inspection, testing & maintenance of sprinkler systems, deluge systems, hose reels, hydrants and associated wet system products, fault finding and preventative maintenance of fire systems.

What you will need:

Have the ability to prepare written reports
C class NSW drivers Licence
Strong commitment to safe work practices
Plumbing Trade Certificate
Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident

The following will be highly desirable:

Practical experience with Wet Fire Systems:
Sprinkler systems, Deluge systems, Fire Hose Reels, Hydrant Systems and associated wet system products (Alarms & Panels)
FPAS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred or willing to obtain with in house training.
Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence (entitlement 2 or 3) is preferred or willing to obtain

For more than 20 years, Ventia has had a longstanding relationship with BlueScope in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, providing plant maintenance, engineering and project services and a skilled workforce for numerous BlueScope projects, as well as fabrication facilities.
