Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for planning, controlling and maintaining the calibration programs to ensure the continued operation and compliance of product testing equipment and instruments.Key elements of your role will include:
  • Maintaining documented quality procedures/work instructions/forms relating to calibrations
  • Participating in and actioning outcomes from audits
  • Monitoring production and laboratory instrument performance and results
  • Investigating and ensuring correction of non-compliant results
  • Maintaining and monitoring instrument calibration data sets
  • Coordinating instrument calibration, maintenance and servicing
  • Participating in site quality projects
About you
  • Prior experience in a quality or laboratory technician role within the manufacturing industry (or similar)
  • Strong administration and coordination skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong ability to prioritise and work effectively to meet deadlines
  • An analytical mindset with a high attention to detail to accurately report and input data into quality systems
  • Comfortable using software applications including MS Office suite
