- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including DTMR, Delivery Authorities and internal departments
- Lead negotiations and successful navigation of governance obligations
- Prepare detailed analysis and advice on current best practice to support strategic decision making
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure effective support while providing strategic advice and an escalation point on evaluation of contractual and commercial matters.
- Manage legislative, contractual, governance and regulatory compliance through the life of the major projects to ensure risk mitigation and benefit realisation related to the various agreements.
- In conjunction with other MPI functions support and assist in the asset handover process to ensure that Queensland Rail's requirements are being achieved.
- Good knowledge of governing legislation, regulatory, commercial and contractual requirements in a government environment
- High level of skill in negotiation, implementation and ongoing management of government and commercial arrangements
- Sound level of strategic, conceptual, analytical, collaborative and influencing skills
- Extensive knowledge interpreting, managing and translating evolving commercial requirements in a contractually diverse environment
