Job Summary: This position provides immediate support to ensure all welcome desk, bathing and grooming, wrangler, lead coordinator and overnighter functions are actively supervised and managed. The Assistant Store Manager works as a member of the management team to ensure store related practices are strategically aligned with overall business objectives. This list is not all-inclusive and may be broadened or changed to meet changing business needs.Liaison to Store Manager, General Manager, Dog Trainers, Human Resources and CEOCompletes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work resultsMaintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employeesConducts candidate interviews for open positions as neededResponsible for coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job resultsLeadership presence and knowledge of all aspects of business practices and processesAchieves financial objectives; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
