- 7.5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week.
- Perth Southern suburb locations (WFH must be requested as per client's requirements, and it is usually 3 days from office) On-Site and remote work as required by our client.
- Perth based candidates only with Australian full time work rights as it is a minimum requirement due to the nature of this role.
- Fixed term salary banding GO8 as per Higher Education requirements.
- Higher education industry award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances and superannuation.
- Engage with business owners and relevant stakeholders to gain an understanding of their business problems and needs.
- Develop a detailed understanding of relevant business processes and/or system functionalities and user requirements.
- Through a process of exploration and investigation identify and define business objectives and future state requirements in consultation with the relevant business stakeholders.
- Facilitate the negotiation of objectives and requirements amongst stakeholders.
- Source, collate and analyse data from reports to inform decision making.
- Map and document current and future-state business processes.
- Prepare detailed business rules and requirements documentation, ensuring the requirements map the real business need and that they are validated and approved by all relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate design sessions with relevant specialists (e.g. IT developers) to define appropriate technical solutions.
- Use agreed methodologies to ensure an aligned approach to product and service delivery (e.g. Agile or waterfall).
- Clearly articulate new functionality, for example as user stories, technical stories, or implementation plans.
- Participate in agreed processes in order to estimate and communicate resource requirements.
- Participate in change management processes to ensure users are informed with respect to the implementation and use of new or enhanced systems and procedures.
- Undertake post-implementation activities, including Pilot or Proof of Concept evaluations and Production verification.

- Draft business cases and run scrum sprint ceremonies as required.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and analysing business processes and working iteratively with stakeholders, to identify potential benefits and available options for business improvement.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated skills in mapping and redesigning business solutions.
- Highly developed organisational skills and sound knowledge of structured product delivery methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability create systematic and consistent requirements specifications, reports and other relevant documentation in clear and user-friendly language.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle and a broad current knowledge of ICT standards and trends.
- Previous experience working in the higher education sector.
