- Foster and maintain overall operation and long-term sustainable performance of the people and processing facility.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements, directions and legislation and work in accordance with the company quality systems and other appropriate quality measures
- Meet or improve financial performance against budgeted controllable costs.
- Ensure strong communication is maintained with our people and promote an open, flexible work environment while complying with all company policies, procedures and directions.
- Form a partnership with production planning to achieve maximum plant utilisation including making recommendations and where necessary changing the production plan in line with customer and company requirements.
- Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems within any facet of the work environment
- Inspire your team to reach their full potential by providing recognition as well as constructive feedback on a regular basis
- Strong ability to build effective internal and external working relationships at all levels
- Proven experience leading, coaching and/or developing a team
- Experience working in a high paced work environment
- Food background is advantageous
- SAP experience would be ideal
- Effective communication and influencing capability
- Strong safety mindset in all facets of work
