- Contribute to the development of systems for the extraction, linkage, management, monitoring, analysis and reporting of relevant data.
- Undertake statistical analyses of NDIS Quality and Safeguards data and associated datasets.
- Provide analytical expertise to support the evaluation and reporting of NDIS Quality and Safeguards data and associated datasets.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the data and analytics function, including the development and tracking of key indicators.
- Contribute to the preparation of analytics reports for a varied audience, including routine reporting on key Commission indicators and ministerial briefings.
- Provide subject matter expertise on data analysis and reporting, and the use of data for risk profiling and compliance with Commission rules.
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders in the interpretation of analytical results
- Contribute to good documentation practices that enable replicable processes for analysis, evaluation, monitoring and quality improvement
- Demonstrated proficiency with one or more of the following: R, SQL, Python or data visualisation tools (Qlik Sense would be a bonus).
- Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative and productive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on data analytics projects.
- High-level knowledge and skills across a range of data-related functions such as the statistical analysis of large datasets, systems design, data linkage and management.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills, including reporting, presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Highly developed organisational skills and the capacity to manage competing demands and to meet deadlines.
- Lived experience of disability or demonstrated understanding of disability services in a State or Territory Government context would be an advantage.
- Qualifications in and/or equivalent experience in a discipline such as statistics, epidemiology, social science, psychology, information technology or data analytics.
