Join a dynamic, well established, ASX-listed, national manufacturing and distribution business as General Counsel. This is a sole legal role reporting to the CFO.About the CompanyCapral is Australia’s largest extruder and a leading distributor of aluminium products. With around 1,100 employees spread across the nation in manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and offices, we offer variety and workplace flexibility.Key Tasks

Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including sales and purchase agreements, IT contracts, IP Licences, and finance agreements.
Reviewing and negotiating commercial property leases.
Providing support on strategic M & A initiatives.
Managing commercial litigation.
Regulatory advice and support in implementing compliance initiatives.
Company secretarial and corporate governance support.
Other tasks within the scope of the position.

Essential CriteriaThe successful applicant should possess the following:

Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in corporate/ commercial work gained in a similar in-house role.
Proven ability to partner with the business.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, decision making and negotiation skills.
This position is fulltime and will require the incumbent to work outside of the normal scope of hours and to travel as and when required by the business.
