- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with cultural groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants and hospital departments.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated attention paid to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work confidently within a hospital environment.
- Ability to work independently with oversight from senior staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Possess analytical and problem solving skills.
- Advanced computer skills in particular programs such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to acquire the knowledge in the required areas related to the research specialty.
- Experience working with research participants (desired)
- Experience working with health management software (desired)
- Understanding of health terminology (desired)
- Experience working as an Aboriginal Health Worker or working toward your qualifications (desired)
- Any level of nursing qualifications (desired)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting(desired)
