About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced digital multimedia and CAD specialist to join our marketing team. The role will be diverse, working on several established luxury motor yacht brands in an international market.The primary responsibilities will include:
· Working closely with both the marketing and product design teams, to facilitate creative promotions and highly accurate product renders.
· Developing both interactive and video renders around hydrodynamic characteristics to illustrate fluid mechanics.
· Compositing architectural and internal furnishings into photo-realistic renders.
· Producing virtual tours and fly-throughs of product range
· Prepare sketches, designs and illustrations of yachts used for promotional activities and instructional material.
· Work with marketing team to create promotional content, instructional material via online channels and digital media.About you
You will be familiar with the digital marketing landscape and emerging technologies, and have both a creative and analytical mindset. A background in marine or naval architecture and design is essential, as well as a deep understanding of current interior design trends and fabric textures. The role will require working with a lot of people so you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role will be best suited to someone with a lot of initiative and who brings some experience to the team! In addition, you should have:
· A deep understanding of nautical design and physics
· Professional training in CAD: Solidworks and Rhino
· Experience with Cinema5D and Orca 3D (or similar)
· A minimum of 5 years experience working in an appropriate role
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
· A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail
· Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to meet goals and deadlines
· Confidence and skill working with graphics
Also beneficial to the successful applicant:
· Passion for, and experience around boats
· Boat licence
· Demonstrate prior experience with a strong portfolio of relevant previous work

Salary
· The salary for the position will be dependent on experience but a range of $70K to $90K excluding superannuation.
