We are seeking a forward thinking and intuitive Procurement Manager ANZ to lead a team of two across ANZ based in Melbourne, Australia.Reporting into the Procurement Cluster Manager based in Hong Kong, this exciting opportunity will see you optimizing local procurement of products and services by liaising with the local management team to understand their current and anticipated demand or needs, deploying local sourcing strategies, optimizing the local supplier base and managing local and cluster suppliers.As the Procurement Manager, you will:

Managing all categories including but not limited to the following categories - Logistics, Digital & Information Services (IS), Professional Services, Facilities Services (FSS), Marketing under project-based organization setup.
Leading and coaching a team of two Procurement Leads across Australia and New Zealand
Partnering with key internal stakeholders, influencing engagement with procurement to deliver more efficient business outcomes
Translating Business requirements into actionable plans, Contributing to PMI's regional and local strategy
Capitalizing on solid industry and category knowledge and perform regular benchmarks to anticipate business needs and translate them into sourcing strategies.
Mastering negotiation tools and styles to drive business needs and proactively build levers. Coordinating and steering critical & complex negotiations.
Establishing cross-functional cooperation to implement value added initiatives that reduce waste and increase efficiency
Achieving targets across cost reduction and prevention targets
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on implementing sustainability initiatives in the sourcing process in align with company goals.

We're looking for someone who has:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement at local/regional category level with multi- category experience within FMCG or Consumer goods industry
Demonstrated experience leading and coaching a team
A high level of business acumen, with ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
A solid knowledge of the Sourcing and Procure to Pay mindset
Demonstrated capability in network building and working across multiple time zones with international teams
Further education through either nationally accredited Supply Chain training/Procurement (CIPS) or relevant tertiary qualifications is desirable
