The Customer, Communication, and Engagement team connects our community of internal and external stakeholders with Toowoomba Regional Council’s key information. The team is passionate about creating great experiences through internal communication, customer service, marketing, community engagement and media liaison. You'll join a team of talented, creative and diverse individuals who understand that effective communication is essential in fostering strong relationships across the Toowoomba Region.About the positionThe Media and Strategic Relations Officer position will be responsible for promoting all aspects of the Toowoomba Regional Council through utilising effective media and promotion strategies. The role supports Councillors and senior Council staff by writing speeches and providing media advice.

The salary range for this position is $77,223.52 - $87,970.19 gross per annum(dependent on qualification and experience), pro rata, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
This is a temporary full time position, ending Tuesday, 3 September 2024.
