Quality Improvement LeadPermanent Full Time positionCabrini MalvernCabrini offers:Access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free each year, plus $2650 meal & entertainment benefitsLocated close to public transport and cafés/shopping precinctsMyki Commuter discounted public transportation faresAccess to discounted private health insurance and gym membershipsExcellent opportunities for professional developmentHow you will make an impactIn this newly created position, the Quality Improvement Lead (Clinical Policy and Forms) will be responsible for implementing and maintaining governance processes for the development and review of clinical documents.Reporting to the Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety and being a member of the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety team, the successful candidate will play a key role in achieving Cabrini’s commitment to providing exceptional patient and family experiences.Key responsibilities will include:Strategic and operating responsibility for clinical policies and medical records forms.Coordinate the Forms Governance committee, ensuring actions and outcomes contribute to documentation that meets required standards.Participate in and advise the committees and working parties that support and inform the Clinical Governance Framework.Engage with external vendors regarding form design and stock management.Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders regarding form contents and index.Manage the Prompt document management system ensuring documentation aligns with relevant policy frameworks.Implement robust governance processes for forms review, design and ordering.About youUndergraduate qualification in a health or related discipline.Clinical experience translatable to policy and practice review and support clinical documentation requirements.Professional written and interpersonal communication skills.A solid understanding of quality improvement and change management systems and principles.Working knowledge of Australian Standard 2828.1: 2019 Health Records, Part 1 and 2 and application to form design and documentation requirements.Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage and deliver a range of complex tasks.Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, particularly Clinical Governance.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, including document and presentation preparation.To view the full position description clickEnquiries should be directed to: Megan Mills, Director of Nursing and Clinical Education - 03 9508 1532Does this sound like your new role?
