- Leading the day-to-day operations of the research project and co-supervise the PhD students
- Collaborating effectively within a team setting to enhance existing and future research priorities.
- Fostering collaboration among the University, government, national and international academia, and industry.
- Participating in securing research support from industry and competitive external grants on both national and international scales.
- Completed, or recently submitted for review, a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation in electrical or biomedical engineering or a related field.
- Relevant research experience in the design of hardware or software systems for optical imaging.
- Demonstrated record of high-quality contribution to research, including evidence of international and national research collaborations/partnerships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including an inter-disciplinary way of working, capacity to build relationships and engagement with industry stakeholders.
