Learn more .About the roleAs a Senior Auditor in our Audit division, you will have the opportunity to partner with a diverse range of public and private sector organisations across multiple industries. You will join a supportive and energetic team and have the opportunity to continue to grow your career through learning and development offerings and ongoing support and mentoring from Senior Leaders including Partners.*Negotiable salary based on relevant experience, starting from $79,000 (inclusive of super).Some of your key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the Firm's clients, Partners and staff;
  • Providing guidance and expertise to Audit team members and ensure audit procedures are followed in accordance with the Firm’s Audit methodology;
  • Collaborating to plan objectives and devise an Audit strategy that appropriately identifies and addresses the Audit risks;
What you will need to succeed
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA), or studying towards admission;
  • Demonstrated external audit experience within a professional services firm;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian reporting requirements especially AIFRS Accounting, current auditing and tax legislation and Corporation Act, ASIC and ASX requirements;
  • Experience in the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial reports;
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to build excellent client relationships.
