Finance Analyst

• NSW State Government
• Initially starting 6 Months Contract - ongoing
• $60 per hour + Super
• Parramatta SQ| WFH 4 days

• Month-end processing, bank reconciliation, AP, AR duties
• Preparing and posting journals, reviewing and preparing management reports
• Prepare Month-end results reports for business including updating reports
• Respond to ad-hoc business queries and support Senior Financial Analyst
• Preparing and reporting on cash flow forecasts
• Assisting in Treasury month end reporting
• Generating monthly management reports, involving tasks like reconciling the general ledger, balance sheet, creating pertinent journal entries (including accruals and prepayments).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CA or CPA qualifications (or working towards) or Master degree in accounting
• Experience in journals,bank reconciliation, AP, AR, (at least 5 years)
• Good team player with positive work collaboration skills and ability to grow with the team
• No Government experience needed - Commercial is welcome
• Can do attitude and software skills
