Here at Concentis, we have partnered with a global mining asset owner to source an experienced Construction Lead to be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of multi-disciplined self-performed SMP and E&I capital projects.This is a FIFO client-side role on an initial 12-month contract, flying to a remote mine site engaged on a 16:12 roster with benefits of paid travel, accommodation and meals provided.Accountabilities:

Support contractor supervisors to align trades, assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment to reflect values.
Oversight of project contractors, ensuring that the projects complete works to meet schedule and quality requirements, directing the progress of work and driving compliance.
Equipment management to ensure the inventory of equipment that are needed are available, being organised and used in an efficient manner.
Contractor management systems ensuring operations complies with statutory, corporate and community requirements.
Leadership in environmental compliance and ensuring the construction contractor complies with environmental compliance requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Work with project lead, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and executed.
Liaising with line managers, Project leads and engineers on technical issues.
Give clear and precise instructions to Contractors on site.
Cultivate strong relationships with contractors, clients and stakeholders and act as a secondary point of contact.

About You:

Prove experience in project construction supervision (Electrical).
Electrical construction experience in a similar role in the mining construction industry would be highly regarded.
Supervisor competencies – G1 Apply Risk Management Processes Training, G8 - Conduct Investigations Training and G9 – Communication and Consultation Training
Contractor and/or self-perform electrical direct supervision experience.
Strong leadership and people skills.
Willingness to work a flexible FIFO work schedule.
Prefer wide experience base covering the electrical project construction but may also supervise other common. disciplines where necessary, e.g. civil, pipe work, structural, etc.
