Murray Bridge base.The RoleThe Family Mental Health Support Service (Supporting Children and Youth - SCY) is based at Murray Bridge and provides early intervention support to vulnerable families with children and young people aged 0-18 years who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of developing, mental illness. The program provides outreach services to the following areas: Murray, Mid Murray, Coorong and Mallee.Our Service is client cantered client focused using strength-based approaches working within a trauma informed Care model and we value the opportunity to work with our clients and families to support them to reach their full potential.This is a Parental Leave fixed-term opportunity until 12 September 2025.See attached position description for full details.What you need to bringEssential

Degree in Social Work or a related discipline
Experience working with vulnerable families with children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of developing, mental illness
Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
Valid driver's licence
Available and able to work outside of standard hours when required.

Desirable

Experience delivering therapeutic interventions including one on one and group work
Experience in mental health promotion/education and community development activities
Experience working in regional areas
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people
Experience using Penelope client records management software
