- Large-scale Database design skills, closely work with Engineering teams and Project Managers and customer technical authority and ensure smooth delivery of project deliverables
- Design Oracle Database on Exadata platform & build specific database environments to meet business requirements-Oracle Versions: - 11g, 12c,19c and 21c and familiar with multi tenant architecture.
- Configure and building database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Maintain and Implement of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for Oracle Server
- Working as part of a project in a demanding environment where team work is key to delivering and meeting client commitments
- Providing technical expertise and assistance to project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle, particularly during the design and build phases.
- Work with the team ICT Architects and Project Managers other professionals as appropriate to gather, review and analyse the customer's requirements
- To lead the project implementation phase and be responsible for delivery of projects on time and on budget. Conducting project kick off meetings and engaging in detailed technical discussions
- Active participant in virtual technology teams in Advanced Services.
- Ensure the appropriate operational service documentation and handover is completed
- Ability to interface with system integrator and outsourced partners to deliver technical solutions
- Minimum 10 years broad industry experience , least 5+ years in Leading Solution design or Architecture at one or more major organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Developer or Architect.
- Extensive expertise in PL/SQL programming and database development, including advanced querying and optimization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of database design principles, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c) and proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Familiarity with Oracle Exadata, RAC, and Data Guard is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex database-related issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in a large-scale, enterprise-level database environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of postgres is greatly appreciated.
