Click to find out more information about GV Health and our services.Click to find out more from our staff about a career and lifestyle at GV Health.About the role:The GV Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program provides trauma informed mental health care and support to young people aged 0-18 years of age, in partnership with the young person and their care and support networks.The Senior Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician is based in our Seymour office. The role entails provision of comprehensive developmental mental health assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic intervention presenting with severe and or complex psychological distress and mental health difficulties. Working with families, carers, and support networks will be key in the provision of a quality service. The clinician will also support he senior CAMHS management team, along with providing supervision as required to students and more junior clinicians.The successful candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, and registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist;
Social Work qualification with AASW membership;
Occupational Therapy qualification and registration with AHPRA;
At least 5 years' experience in the provision of clinical mental health care, ideally in child and adolescent mental health.
