The opportunityA great opportunity exists to join a highly regarded busy underground principal mining company in southeast Queensland, Bundaberg region.

$65.00ph - $70.00ph + super
Guaranteed 12-month contract with likely temp to perm opportunities to the companies books
FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore
Thursday - Thursday shift patterns
Attractive 8:6/ 7:7 roster - days & nights

Duties of the roleReporting into the maintenance leading hand and working closely with 4 other tradespeople, you will enjoy;-

Working in a role with a wide range of duties and responsibilities
Duties - jumbo box starters, maintenance on fans, pumps and vents, communications systems, power supply, 1000v and HV reticulation, drill services
Surface and underground electrical work
Working autonomously and in a team

Your value and experience

Trade qualified electrician
2+ years' recent experience working in the UG hard rock mining environment
Experience working on UG mining drill services
Strong diagnostic and breakdowns skills
Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
Ability to FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore (or DIDO in S.E QLD)
Strong safety values
