As the Job Placement Coach, you will be part of a support team that works together with the young person and will focus on building their skills, confidence, and readiness to enter employment through targeted and tailored activities.Your role will include:
Completing intake assessments with the young person to determine work readiness.
Manage a caseload of young people between the ages of 15 to 24.
Working in collaboration with the young person to goal set and implement strategies.
Source and match employment opportunities for young job seekers using a strengths based, client-centered approach.
Connecting with relevant community organisations to support work readiness.
Job matching, cold calling, and reverse marketing the youth to employers.
Facilitate and run job focused group activities and workshops for young people with the aim of building work readiness to secure ongoing employment. Activities could include job searching, resume writing, interview skills, and employability skills.

Proficient skills in using technology and systems; our compliance requirements are high, and your administration needs to be on par with this.
