We're currently seeking a dedicated Quality Improvement Chemist/Engineer to join our team. This is your chance to contribute to our legacy of excellence and ensure our product and process technologies meet the highest standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Improvement Chemist/Engineer, you will be the steward of HBF product and process technology, directly reporting to the site Quality Assurance Manager. Your main objective is to support our Quality Control/Assurance function by upholding the integrity of our products through rigorous testing and quality control measures. This includes resolving issues related to yield, specification discrepancies, and out-of-control production processes using advanced tools like Statistical Process Control Methodology.Develop, improve, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for QC and Work Instructions for QC equipment and processes.Maintain Quality documents such as calibration schedules, certificates of analysis and production batch documentation.Test and analyse raw materials, manufactured and purchased goods to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards.Collaborate with chemists or formulation specialists on new product scale-ups, raw material substitutions, and trial productions.Drive process improvements, conduct audits, and be actively involved in quality of production-related processes.Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality-related issues, aiming for best practice outcomes.Conduct quality audits to support continuous improvement within our facilities.Minimum RequirementsDegree in Chemistry or Engineering, or Laboratory Technician with 3 to 5 years of experience preferred. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.A proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.Willingness for interstate travel as required.Experience with SAP beneficial.H.B.
