- Achieve sales budget and targets for allocated customers and report on sales performance against targets for current period.
- Identify/secure new sales/ business prospects/opportunities and increase your customer base.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Develop growth strategies, execute marketing activities, and manage agreements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and product knowledge to provide customers with the best solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments regarding sales and meet customer needs, such as our Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing teams.
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
- Uphold the company's values and contribute positively to the workplace culture.
- Manage and maintain relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders to retain existing and identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Monitor customer & market activity and feedback via CRM.
- Ensure customer account plans & call cycles are implemented & actioned.
- Resolve issues & complaints with customers.
- Previous experience within a similar role & within the building products or construction industry or
- Proficient with CRM software & Office applications (intermediate excel).
- Self-starter with a high energy with a will to succeed.
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics.
- Merchandising skills and experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on the customer.
- Negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills and experience.
