Run by volunteer dental practitioners, our clinic has specialised equipment uniquely designed to treat people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, providing more comfort and access than regular dental clinics. The clinic normally runs 2 or 3 mornings each week, typically on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday however days can vary depending on the availability of our volunteer dental practitioners. Our Dental Clinic Manager will work with you to schedule flexible days and times that suit your current work commitments. You can choose how many clinics to attend each year.Tasks & Responsibilities:Offering clients of Cerebral Palsy Alliance your professional services as a dental hygienist/oral health therapist and helping our clients to achieve and maintain oral health.Role requirements:Current AHPRA (dental hygienist/oral health therapist) registrationCurrent dentistry certification/qualificationNDIS Worker Screening checkWorking with Children Check (NSW)Excellent chairside manner and great communication skillsAt least 12 months experience working in a dental clinicExperience working with people with a disability desirable
