Provide Financial Accounting services to various Managed Investment fund and Property fund clients in a timely and efficient manner. Oversee and review of junior team members and provide mentoring.Job Responsibilities:The role duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:Management of key client accounts and relationshipsMaintenance of the general ledger for Managed Investment funds / Property funds and reconcile back to the source of truth on a timely basis.Prepare month end accounting reports trial balance, profit/loss, balance sheet and client specific reports as required by clients.Calculation of periodic taxable income distributions for Managed Investment funds / Property funds.Preparation of BAS returns and assist with tax returns.Create annual and semi-annual financial statements for Managed Inv. / Property funds.Review the work performed by fund accountants.Provide mentoring and support to junior team membersWork with audits and clients to ensure all requirements and requests are answer in a timely mannerAd hoc project work including improvement of processes and procedures.Oversight of the work being prepared in offshore locationsProven Experience & Qualifications:Minimum 5 years experience in a fund accounting roleCPA / CA qualificationsExperience in oversight and review of accountantsIntermediate to Advanced excel skillsExperience in using administration systems like Hiport or PaxusSkills Required:Ability to work well under pressure;Positive attitude and high level attention to detail;Strong team player;Strong communication and analytical skills;An understanding and interest in financial marketsStrong organisational skills;Strong communication skills both oral and written;Exceptional customer focus and relationship management skills;Strong problem-solving skills;Ability to work independently;Ability to prioritise tasks.About our Company
