- This is an advanced clinical practice role with responsibility for coordinating the delivery of Continence Services across a broad community practice setting. The role will monitor the team's clinical load, allocate resources in accordance with clinical practice experience and service priorities and provide clinical expertise in the management of more complex cases.
- Support an integrated approach to service delivery by developing effective links with other public and community-based health service providers and promote community awareness in relation to continence services.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager in the evaluation, planning and development of continence services for the southern region of Tasmania and in the operational functioning of the service.
- Is a dynamic specialist team that delivers care in clinics and homes across the picturesque Southern Region of Tasmania.
- The position of Clinical Nurse Consultant provides high level clinical support and leadership to a small team of dedicated and skilled clinicians.
- The occupant is encouraged and supported to develop and maintain a network of other clinical experts to assist in the consultancy role and to provide opportunities to contribute to community nursing and health care developments more broadly.

- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
- Registration to Working with Vulnerable People
- Current Driver's Licence
- Holds or working towards post graduate studies in Continence.
