Instrumentation ElectricianShutdown dates/Information:

Pre shutdown - Commences on the 15th of April on 2:2 Roster (12-hour days)
Main shutdown - Commences on the 11th of July circa 4 weeks (12-hour days)
FIFO from Perth only as inductions/training required prior to commencement

About Ventia:Ventia is seeking experienced & qualified Instrumentation Electricians. This casual role will see you engaged on periodic Campaign maintenance, grouped/batched maintenance programs, as well as completing both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance. The casual position will see you working FIFO out of Perth as part of the initial Barrow Island team and partake in future LNG works as opportunities arise to join future shutdowns.What on offer?

Engage in periodic campaign maintenance and grouped/batched maintenance programs

What you'll need:**Any tickets that specify a validity date must be valid until the end of the Shutdown (approx. mid-August 2024)**Essential

Certificate III or IV in Engineering - Instrumentation
WA unrestricted licence - Valid as per ticket
White card
EEHA - valid within 3 years
CPR/LVR - valid within 1 year
Operate breathing apparatus - valid within 3 years
Perform rescue from a live voltage panel - valid within 1 year

Desirable

Provide first aid - Valid within 1 year
Industry Safety Induction
High Voltage Operation - Valid within 3 years

What you will bring:

Experience in maintenance and fault finding activities
Knowledge of hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards
Strong interpersonal skills
Understanding of gas compression and power generation systems
Ability to follow processes and procedures
Experience maintaining and operating critical instrumentation
Ability to work within a team environment
Safety - first mindset following safety protocols and hazard procedures
