Our bench to bedside philosophy sees us working across Mater Health's hospitals and health services, The University of Queensland, and the world-class Translational Research Institute (TRI).We are committed to working closely with Mater Health, Mater Education and our growing network of partners and collaborators to turn scientific discovery into the best possible treatment, care, and outcomes for patients and our broader community.Salary range: $50.11 - $56.27 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900What you'll be doingThe Clinical Trial Coordinator - Level 3 is senior member of the team that would be independent in their trial management and expected to mentor levels 1 and 2 CTC's. CTC level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day management of clinical trials.They will act as a primary coordinator for clinical trials and clinical research. They are responsible for the coordination and administration of trial related activities. This position will oversee project planning, and ensures that pre-established procedure, study protocol, data collection and regulatory requirements are followed.The CTC 3 will oversee recruitment and coordinate research participants as appropriate and serves as an administrative liaison for projects. They will oversee the administrative tasks and record keeping in a compliant manner. This role is critical to the successful conduct of clinical trials at Mater Research.For more information specific to the role, please view the PD here -About youYou will have AHPRA nursing registration, without restrictions, and a minimum of five years experience in nursing and/or experience in a relevant field of research. You will also meet the below criterial:
Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and experience negotiating and liaising effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders (e.g. patients, families, clinic and non-clinical staff, sponsors, CROs)
Demonstrated computer literacy and proficient use of standard Microsoft suite of applications
Current ICH GCP certification, with a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the relevant guiding principles for clinical trial activities
Understanding of Australian Clinical trial regulatory framework and applicable guidelines such as ICH GCP as adopted by the TGA and NHRMC guidelines for clinical trials or ability to obtain
Strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills with competent working knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs including excel, word, teams and outlook
Ability to operate independently exercising initiative and judgement as well as in collaboration with stakeholders
Ability to acquire and apply standard process to project specific protocols
