We are currently seeking a Shotfirer to join our tight-knit operations teams in one of our key sites near Coppabella, QLD!The positions are offered on a permanent, job share position, 7/7 roster - 1 roster per month. This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) role and camp facilities will be provided for the duration of the roster.The Shotfirers will assist, and provide direction, supervision and guidance to the Blast Crew in the process of loading, tying and firing large shots.Apply today and be part of our amazing team!What you will be doing

Providing operational blasting knowledge and advice to our client blast crews and associated stakeholders;
Shotfiring duties including magazine management, managing the loading, tying and firing of blasts, following drill and blast designs;
Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers;
Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members;
At all times acting with integrity and respect.

What you will bring

Experience operating as a full shotfirer;
Knowledge of explosive and storage regulations;
Knowledge of blasting and blasting procedures;
QLD Shotfirers Licence;
Current HR licence (highly desirable);
An impeccable safety record and commitment toward safety.
