We have forged a dominant industry presence in a very short period of time through our consultative approach to recruitment, and transparent approach to client and candidate management.CrewSELECT require a Senior Plumbing Estimator for our client, a leading plumbing company in the Perth Metro.Job Overview:

Analise incoming tender requests, quantify possibilities, sort into relevance and log into system
Work in close collaboration with the Senior PM /OP Manager and assess the relevant tenders to target. Assign tenders to the relevant estimators to carry out the tender process. Help with tendering by taking on the more complex projects and the D&C projects.
Work in close collaboration with the Senior PM /OP Manager to ensure that there are enough forward works to achieve the monthly sales targets.
Lead and motivate the estimators, assigning tasks and responsibilities while checking the works and fostering collaboration.
Keep abreast of the market by following up on all tenders and offering up value adding where applicable. Keep a record of the win rate percentage of tendered projects.
Work in close collaboration with the Senior PM /OP Manager to ensure that the estimating rates are current & up to date. Upload current supplier price files monthly.

About you:

You will use your trade background to prepare tenders for commercial projects
Complete tender documents and enter tenders into Quote Sheet
Conduct site inspections to assess project conditions, risks & activities
Sourcing suppliers and sub-contractors
Provide feedback on project scope, complexity and risks
Obtain quotes from suppliers/sub-contractors and negotiating prices
Follow up with clients post tender submissions to determine outcome
Working with the Senior Estimator to consistently source tenders
Prepare project documentation for successful tenders
Co-ordinate and conduct handover meetings with PM's
Preparing costing changes, variations and additions to contracts
Assisting the Senior Estimator with As Cons/design drawings
