Our ideal candidate adds to this culture and our workplace in their own way.What you will doAs Project Officer - Education, you will primarily assist with creating education support materials for practitioners and educators to improve understanding of the NCC.Your duties will include:
  • collaborating with key stakeholders across the ABCB, government and industry
  • assisting with projects and relevant stakeholder relationships including government, industry, educators, and NCC users
  • conducting research, analysis, and project planning
  • shaping, creating, and writing content for digital platforms
  • effectively project manage financial and other resources
  • identifying problems and working to resolve them
  • engaging with and actively listen to staff, colleagues and stakeholders
  • providing impartial advice, and justify positions when challenged
  • structuring written and oral communication to ensure clarity
  • monitoring project progress and managing priorities
  • working under limited direction on moderately complex work
  • exploring new ideas, solutions, and different viewpoints to complex problems
  • anticipating and being responsive to stakeholder needs and expectations
  • challenging issues constructively and presenting persuasive counter arguments
  • sharing information, assisting to adapt to change and adjusting plans as required
EligibilityTo be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.NotesA merit pool may be established and used to fill future vacancies within 18 months from the date the vacancy was first advertised in the Gazette.The department does currently offer flexible work opportunities for many roles. This vacancy is Canberra based, although flexible or remote work arrangements may be considered.
