About the company:Our client, a well known Australian brand within the banking finance industry is seeking a senior self starting data analyst to join their team in a permanent capacity. Based in the CBD, the organisation is moving forward with technology and data to provide more insights to their customers and business for an improved customer experience.About the role:You will have worked within large enterprises within the banking, finance and insurance industries. As a data Analyst you will be working with key stakeholders across the business and analyse, design, provide insights into the business to drive effective business decisions You have extensive experience working withSQL, Power BI, and have a background in data engineeringThis role will provide expertise in how to leverage existing and future technology to enable the business goals of simplification, accuracy, automation and innovation.You will have:

Bachelor's Degree in IT/Data Science
Certification in Data Analytics tools and techniques
7 + years commercial experience working as a data analyst
SQL and Power BI experience - 5+ years experience
Tableau experience - 3-5 years experience
Experience working within the banking, finance and insurance industry
Billing systems reporting and dashboard - highly advantageous
Technical skill set - SQL, PowerBi, Power, ETL, Tableau, Azure and AWS knowledge, Microsoft Tech stack
Advanced excel for calculations and logic
Must have full working rights
