West Tamar Council are on the lookout for dynamic and passionate Town Planners, or similar, to undertake statutory planning functions and duties and provide appropriate advice to Council, staff and the public. Do you possess the following skills?
  • 2-5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in town planning.
  • Sound to strong knowledge of planning legislation and relevant planning instruments
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with difficult situations including negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Well-developed self-management skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload and demonstrate commitment to task completion.
