About the RoleThe Brisbane region is home to a number of well-established tertiary, general and specialist hospitals boasting quality health care services and contemporary work environments. Mental health services are provided through inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, offering individuals experiencing complex mental illness and associated disorders treatment and care within a multidisciplinary framework.Successful applicants will be delivering high quality psychiatric services to patients living with mental illness and addictions. Responsibilities include providing medical and clinical assessment and treatment for people presenting to the mental health and addictions service, working in collaboration with other members of clinical teams, contributing to the effective functioning of the service, participation in service development/improvement activities and fostering an environment of ongoing learning and development for medical practitioners, students, and other health care workers.The locations on offer are highly sought-after due to their close proximity to Brisbane’s CBD, diverse dining options, excellent schools, efficient public transport, sporting opportunities, riverside activities and family friendly parklands.
