We are passionate about the principles of “lean” management and are committed to continuously improving every aspect of the business. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategies to achieve our goals, while leading our high-performing team to maximise sales and profitability, deliver an unforgettable customer experience, and ensure our brands continue to be best in class.We focus on recruiting and retaining the very best people in our quest to provide outstanding service and products to our customers. We are seeking a like-minded individual who has a common-sense approach to management, to join our highly regarded team.Key responsibilities of this exciting, hands-on role include:

Working with the executive team to develop and implement our strategic plan
Driving the business including the sales, marketing, operations and finance teams to ensure that strategy is implemented
Overseeing distilling operations across our seven distilleries, each located in iconic cities and townships throughout Australia
A focus on systems and process to deliver excellence across the business
Optimising warehouse and logistics management to maximise productivity
Managing the development and delivery of new products, including the planning, scheduling and execution of production runs
Managing day to day logistics to ensure timely, accurate deliveries to our valued customers
Operational reporting and process improvement
Managing our exceptional operational team, fostering a culture of excellence, unity, and passion for our craft
Leading by example with a focus on continuous improvement and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude

Along with being reliable, loyal, and trustworthy it is essential that you have the following attributes:

A proven track record of success in a similar position
An ability to drive a business and “make things work”
A desire to push the boundaries of what is considered possible
Excellent people management skills
A deep passion for the spirits industry and drive to achieve results
Ability to communicate professionally, pragmatically and with influence, both in person and in writing
Bring positive energy to inspiring those around you
Strong values, ensuring integrity in every decision and action
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team
A strong work ethic
Understanding of numbers
