Do you want to be part of formulating and implementing our strategies?We're looking for a Real Estate Development Manager to:

Supervise external development managers on significant development projects and capital upgrade works across new and existing assets - including in living sectors.
Manage negotiation of key development contractual engagements
Establish and manage budgets and cash flows accurately, including report on adequacy budget allowances
Monitor approvals and the development / construction process and external development manager performance.
Ability to oversee all aspects of development including identifying risks, opportunities for improvements through innovation, revenue time and cost to extract maximum value.
Apply appropriate risk management strategies to all aspects of the role and the works being managed.
Assist with driving strategic ESG asset plans and oversee execution of ESG strategies, engagement of consultants and managing all aspects of capital works upgrades
Be market facing and assist with sourcing of new acquisition and development opportunities across sectors, including living sectors.
Create and manage project feasibility models and assist more broadly with financial modelling and underwriting of acquisitions.
Assist with the preparation and execute business plans, budgets and investment monitoring tools for assets and funds under management.
Assist with asset management of the existing portfolio of office assets located across NSW, Victoria and Queensland and support in managing our Build to Rent portfolio.
Supervise external service providers - including project managers, property managers and other consultants.
Prepare detailed reports on development works progress, contractor performance analysis, and other investment presentations for both internal stakeholders and clients.
Contribute to hold / sell analysis and support the execution of property transactions, including acquisition underwriting and due diligence.
Contribute to AUM growth by assisting with the design, marketing and launch of new investment strategies and mandates.
Build strong relationships with existing and potential new investors.

Our team is responsible for actively managing real estate investments within APAC across the major real estate sectors in Australia. Our capabilities are focused on core and value-added strategies, but they also include other strategies across the risk / return spectrum. You'll play an important role in the strategic management of our properties, optimisation of our portfolios, and growth of the business.Your expertise

Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel) and experience working with Argus Enterprise desirable
You will be professionally qualified with demonstrated Development experience working on residential projects
University degree - major in property, development and project management, finance, commerce or property economics desirable
Ideally +7 years of relevant experience in real estate investment development management.
A strong understanding of the Australian real estate investment market, the real estate development process and conventions is desirable. Development management experience desirable
Established network of Australian real estate market contacts
Experience working within a comprehensive risk and compliance framework
Impeccable attention to detail
Strong numerical and financial modelling skills
