Unique casual opportunity for an experienced General Practitioner to use and enhance their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment at Broadmeadows, VIC.The RoleIn this role you will provide primary health care services to the people residing in the Immigration Detention Centre. The key responsibilities are to:

To assess, diagnose and treat clients in immigration detention at the General Practice level
Provide advice and education to nurses and allied health professionals as necessary or as requested.
Liaise with all parties involved in the medical management of clients in Immigration Detention.
Ensure accuracy and maintenance of all medical records and compliance with professional standards.

Requirements

Full unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
Primary Care experience is essential
Superior clinical decision-making in a busy work environment
Full working rights in Australia
Current First Aid or BLS certificate or willingness to obtain
Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
