Our Marketing and Sales Manager of 40 years in the sales and marketing arena is retiring and Bevmarks need a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated replacement.We are looking for that individual who wants a real challenge, is creative, and has good instincts. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to:
- formulate and implement policies and plans in respect of the business's sales and marketing activities in consultation with other members of the Bev Marks administrative, executive, and sales teams;
- have a demonstrated understanding of marketing, sales and branding in all forms of media, including social media;
- take charge and oversee the development of initiatives for new products, including being directly involved in formulating marketing and advertising campaigns for the business;
- organise and control all aspects of the business' sales activities, including setting product mix and geographical sales areas and being responsible for customer service standards;
- direct merchandising methods and distribution policies by coordinating the work of all salespersons, agents, suppliers and distributors;
- set prices and credit arrangements;
- generally, plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the sales and marketing activities of the business;
- have strong leadership skills and the ability to be a team player;
- have demonstrated organisational skills with a high attention to detail;
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
- have a minimum of 5 years' worth of sales and marketing managerial experience in a bulky goods retail environment.
- Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per annum plus superannuation and performance bonuses
- 5 weeks annual leave
