This growing multinational organisation is well-renowned within the Facilities Management support services sector, to lead a key contract’s operational delivery, they are seeking to appoint a Senior Operations Manager.Base Criteria
Ideally qualified in Business, Hospitality, Engineering or Facilities Management along with a strong understanding of Integrated Facilities Management – Technical Maintenance, Cleaning, Grounds, Support Services, Building Trades and Hygiene Management.Outline Duties
Performing a lead role ensuring key stakeholders are satisfied with their ongoing supply of high-quality services, providing senior operational and strategic client interface and direction, whilst driving contract organic growth and service delivery strategies.Manage and ensure the delivery of a range of services, while leading a diverse workforce and supporting mentoring and training of managers.Lead, drive, support and coordinate management, supervisory and support staff (including contractors) undertaking work within a portfolio of client premises.Skills and Attributes
- Facilities, Contract or Key Account Management experience within a major Integrated FM environment managing the delivery of large or multi-site contracts.
- Strong experience in managing a team of facilities management, support and maintenance staff providing clear goals, direction and timescales to ensure their effective achievement of objectives.
- An excellent communicator, with fluent English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions, management and strategic plans and undertake internal and external stakeholder interface.
- Engaging personality and strong presentation skills, able to delegate responsibilities to ensure efficiency of time.
- Personal commitment and drive to ensure a continuous programme of best practice, innovation, business optimisation, and industry leadership.
- A strong manager who can engage fully with frontline staff (direct and contract), undertake walk-rounds, yet provide strategic direction and head-office support and stakeholder engagement.
- Encouraging people development initiatives, diversity programmes, commitment to safe working practices and enhancing specialisms within the portfolio.
