About the RoleWe have a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team on Night Shift, located at our manufacturing plant in Glynde. The position is full-time, working Sunday to Thursday (11pm – 7am).Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will also work closely with our teams in manufacturing.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintain & improve the production lines in all facets of repairs & maintenance - improving efficiency, reducing downtime & improving continuity.
Complete PM's with data entry
Investigate equipment failures and implement improvements.
Assist with the development of preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance schedules.
General tig welding
GMP/ HAACP experience is highly desirable.

About YouAs a qualified Maintenance Fitter, you will pride yourself on your strong time management skills with broad experience in general repairs and maintenance, welding and building relationships.To be successful, you will need to possess the following:

Superior trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Adaptability, with the ability to work in a close-knit team and also autonomously as required.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment (FMCG would be a distinct advantage).
Scissor lift and forklift license would be advantageous.
Ability to work extra hours and weekend work (O/T penalties are applicable).
