We have a long heritage of bringing innovation and expertise, continuously working to contribute to the growth of society and our customers.About the role:To Aligned to our customers business requirements, Fujitsu End User Services (EUS) Contract provides tailored services to achieve the mission of customer.The role of a Formal Messaging Technician is to form part of a 24/7 team, who perform the coordination and support to customer Messaging within the customer strategic environment; and, provides a critical function supporting ongoing customer operations. This position will report directly to the Formal Messaging Team Leader from both a HR and Operations point of view on a day-to-day basis.Responsibilities include:As a Formal Messaging Technician you will operating within a small team and with limited supervision. Responsibilities and duties include the monitoring of servers, messaging queues and gateways. Providing level one and two support for several applications contained within and creating, modifying, deleting and maintaining user accounts for these applications. This also includes the confirmation of successful and timely delivery of formal messages to the customer via several methods.Some activities include:Conducting onsite security-specific activities;Ensuring that all day to day activities are in line with the relevant security requirements, Procedures Manual and other relevant standards (including treatment of classified materials);About you:
  • Some depth of knowledge in area of technical specialization.
  • Is used to working with deadlines, works well under pressure and knows when to escalate.
  • Team player with an interest in coaching more junior team members.
  • Understanding of business continuity process.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • Training / workshop event delivery.
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to understand and interpret complex situations and activities.
  • Communication listening skills coupled with the ability to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and managers and to communicate basic technical information to non-technical people.
  • Demonstrates a flexible approach with good time management skills.
  • NV2 clearance.
Highly Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience within the Federal Government ICT environment.
  • Federal Government Communications Facility experience
