What you'll do:As a Finance Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring tax compliance and contributing to accurate financial reporting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with various aspects of tax accounting, from preparation and lodgement of income tax returns to maintaining the Australian tax fixed asset register. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance tax compliance and process efficiencies. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on experience and strategic involvement in ad-hoc tax projects.

Assist with the tax effect accounting for the group including half-year and annual reporting
Assist with the preparation and lodgement of Australian income tax returns
Assist with the preparation and lodgement of Australian Business and Instalment Activity Statements
Assist with the maintenance of the Australian tax fixed asset register
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance tax compliance and process efficiencies
Assist with ad-hoc tax projects across the organisation
Assist with the tax budgeting and forecasting process for income tax expense and cash tax paid
Implement group tax procedures

What you bring:The ideal Finance Manager will bring a wealth of knowledge in commerce, accounting or taxation along with their pursuit of CA/CPA qualifications. Your demonstrated experience in Australian tax compliance will be highly valued. Experience within a large multinational organisation or Big 4 would be advantageous but not essential. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships and understand stakeholder needs. Above all, your meticulous attention to detail will ensure accurate and timely results.

A degree in Commerce, Accounting, Taxation or a relevant field
Studying towards CA/CPA qualification
Demonstrated experience in Australian tax compliance preferred
Big 4 or in-house tax experience within a large multinational organisation are highly advantageous
Exposure to tax software including income tax, GST and FBT preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and understand stakeholder needs
Proven ability to work meticulously, delivering accurate and timely results
