We are seeking an Experienced Mechanical Engineer to be based in our Sydney office. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to delivering our vision and the delivery of growth to our Mechanical Services team in a supportive environment while executing a dynamic building services role.
The role will support you in your growth as a professional as you'll be working alongside some of the industry's best and brightest in the field. This diverse role will require you to plan and deliver projects for a variety of clients, as well as coordinate project requirements. This role may also include travels including interstate travels.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Engineering calculations.
- Client/contractor interface.
- Attending industry events as a Lucid representative.
- Attending project / site meetings with Project Team Leaders.About You
This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer with a minimum 3 years' experience in the building services industry.
To be successful in this role it is expected that you will have the following skills:
- Advanced skills in Mechanical Services (HVAC) design and documentation.
- Australian-recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in engineering modelling software (including CAD & REVIT).
- Knowledge of other building services disciplines such as electrical, hydraulic and fire.
- Reporting and written communication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Client consultation experience.
- A progressive mindset and a desire to challenge current practices to achieve a better outcome for our clients.
- Full working rights with no restrictions.
- The ability to confirm your COVID-19 vaccination status is mandatory.
