Based at Erskine Park, our site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met. Our facility is fully integrated into the Coles sourcing, production, and logistics and stores' network.About the roleWe have an opportunity for a Training Coordinator to develop, implement and facilitate a detailed annual training plan inclusive of mandatory and optional training programs.You're accountable for coordinating, scheduling and facilitating site inductions for new team members and you will own all training needs for siteYou will also:
  • Ensure a consistent approach to training requirements across area of responsibility thus minimising risk to the business
  • Ensure all training records are accurate and up to date
  • Facilitation of the Induction Program for all new waged Team Members including the organisation and scheduling of manual handling equipment training and assessments
  • Organise presentations and schedule presenters
  • Ensure regular reviews are conducted and updates communicated to all necessary people
  • Coaching Line Managers around their responsibilities of training and recording training
  • Liaise with internal and external learning and development providers, including tertiary institutions and community groups
About you and your skills
  • Looking for an energetic Training professional with proven experience in coordinating and facilitating trainings with a focus on technical/ operational training scheduling
  • Ability to accurately assess training needs and develop an appropriate annual training plan
  • Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and ability to quickly solve problems and think on your feet
  • Familiarity with implementation of site induction programs, leadership and coaching experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and build relationships at all levels
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment would be highly preferred as would any relevant degree or tertiary education
