What You'll DoWe currently have a full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced Learning & Capability Lead where you will have the opportunity to work as part of the Organisational Development & Inclusion team, leading the operations, workflow and planning of the team priorities on a day to day basis as well as contributing your creativity, design and facilitation skills to projects and initiatives across our group of businesses.You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to conduct skills assessments and understand learning requirements, partnering with our Learning & Capability consultants to coordinate delivery aligned to meet business needs. You’ll serve as the key support and point of contact for the Learning & Capability team, working across the Group to determine and allocate required learning demands as well as design, develop and deliver training programs and initiatives across multiple modalities that align to business objectives and to the NRMA Playbook values.The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the opportunity to work from our Sydney CB or Sydney Olympic Park offices or from home as required and agreed for the role. There may be some travel required for the role, including interstate travel.Specifically, your role will have responsibility to:
  • Support Learning & Capability Consultants with scheduling, planning and day to day requests
  • Coordinate assignment of work flow demand across multiple business units, with consideration of individual capacity, experience and knowledge
  • Serve as key contact for projects requiring learning demands, bringing in other team members as required for collaboration and delivery
  • Manage the learning calendar and dashboard
  • Support the administration of the Learning Management System and Compliance training as needed
  • Deliver training as required – will require travel for face to face training across a portfolio of sites and will also include virtual training
  • Facilitate with confidence, presence and creativity to diverse audiences
  • Support the embedding of learning
  • Work with stakeholders to identify core skill gap and key learner priorities across the Group
  • Design creative, effective and engaging learning materials and programs using a variety of platforms and tools for diverse audiences from line to leaders
  • Leverage a blended learning approach that includes eLearning, virtual sessions, self-directed learning as well as face to face workshops, sessions and modules
  • Assess, evaluate and iterate to ensure the success of each initiative
  • Support Group Diversity manager with development of training plans and content that support our Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan as well as current and emerging legislative requirements
  • Participate in projects requiring learning support such as systems, policy and procedural changes to ensure a great learner experience
  • Work with functions such as HR and Safety to ensure training meets legislative requirements and best practices
  • Flex and adapt to changing needs across the organisation and the team, leaning in to assist where needed
  • Play your role in ensuring a positive team culture focused on the success of all members.
What You'll Bring
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Significant experience leading a small to medium team
  • Able to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Organised and detail oriented
  • Able to juggle multiple projects
  • Skilled facilitator, both online and face to face
  • Strong instructional design skills across a variety of platforms and tools
  • Curious – always looking for ways to improve to meet future needs
  • Flexible and adaptive
  • Take ownership and accountability for your portfolio/projects
